Bathroom remodel
When a close friend needed to remodel their downstairs bathroom to accommodate mobility changes from a past accident, our team jumped at the opportunity. The challenge: create an ADA-accessible space that honored both functional needs and artistic vision.
Inspired by a green and pink photograph, our designer collaborated closely with the homeowner to curate tile selections, fixtures, and finishes.
The homeowner’s choice of a pink toilet became the centerpiece—a bold design decision that guided our palette and created a cohesive, contemporary look. The result required balancing creative expression with accessibility, abstract aesthetics with practical durability. Our carpenters rose to the challenge of blending multiple tile styles into a unified design that feels both artistic and timeless. We completed the full demo and remodel in just under 5 weeks, delivering a beautiful, functional space tailored to our friend’s needs and desires.
We added extra grab bars and the teak bench for safety and comfort. They don’t take away from the style and the items add their own sense of charm. Making the shower feel more like a spa.
The color of the ceiling and wall paint matches the pink accent in the shower wall tiles and came directly from the beautiful photo the homeowner chose to inspire the bathroom’s design.
We loved the variety of tile. It doesn’t just look different, it is laid differently. One a sheet penny tile, the green walls are a fence picket style, and the floor is a marble geometric design with brass inlay. We installed the marble brass into the shower niche for a flowing and cohesive look.
