Baderville Custom Home

Custom tile remodel

Nestled on a hill looking to the San Francisco Peaks, this home was inspired by Americana barn aesthetics. The owners, a local General Contractor and his wife, built this home with a local team and their own hands. So they were intentional with every choice and decision.

We came in to assist with their custom tile in the master bathroom, guest bathroom, laundry room, tack/mud room and kitchen. The homeowners specifically chose each tile choice and since it was a contractor’s home, everything needed to be done with great attention to detail.

Kitchen

The tack room tells a story of its own. The sunlight drifts in, in subtle gentle ways that make you want to take your shoes off slowly.
We laid the floor tile against walls of reclaimed wood. It is a landing place for the home that we were happy to ground.

Tack room

We personally love how the tile looks like a quilt to add a touch of comfort to the kitchen space. We bordered the backsplash tile with a bullnose tile edging that gave it a great finished and polished look.

Laundry room

The laundry room was specifically designed by the owners to have a laundry shoot from the upstairs bedroom dropping down into the laundry room for ease.
They added the open space under the washer and dryer for laundry basket storage. Overall, creating a space that’s both fresh and functional.
The look of the tile against the industrial machines and beautiful wood give it a modern and clean look.

Bathroom

We came in to surround this drop in tub with tile. We wanted a fluid look to the tub’s surrounding surface and to ensure it complimented the stone work below that wraps the tub’s base. Another tile selection that brings a touch of comfort as they soak gazing at the stars.

The homeowner loves Aspen trees and she wanted her guest bathroom to look like the Aspens. She chose the white-grey tiles to reflect the trunks of the trees and the green to resemble the Aspen leaves in summer.
She chose the tile layout in a creative pattern that makes you feel like you are in an abstract Aspen forest. Our general contractor laid the tiles and framed them with reclaimed wood to match the vanity.

“We hired Trusted Trades to do tile work on our new house and there was a considerable amount that needed to be done. We hired them to do our mudroom, laundry, hallway, ½ bath, and kitchen backsplash. Brian and Graeme’s work was exceptional. Everything came out beautiful, but what mattered the most is that they were professional and honest. Their product reflects the attention to detail they brought to the job, along with friendliness and genuine concern that the work was done right. Overall, Trusted Trades delivered and I highly recommend them.”
